Bruce Lee : The Think and Grow Rich Story

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee was one of the most famous martial artists and movie stars in the world. He was a true pioneer of Martial Arts and was the founder of Jeet Kune Do. Mr Lee made many famous blockbusters like Fist of Fury and The Big Boss. Bruce Lee was very clear in what he wanted to do like many famous and successful people. He was a very focused and driven individual who would do anything to achieve his goals.

At the age of 28, Bruce Lee was a very driven and talented Martial Artist who already had two children by then. However at that age he was not a known martial arts actor. The only thing he had was the hunger for success and the belief in himself that he would make it. Bruce Lee is one of the greatest success stories.

He wrote a mission statement at 28 in the year of 1969. At the time he was a minor TV star in the USA. He featured in a small number of shows which included the short lived The Green Hornet TV series. He had no financial support or income and had his second child recently born. Bruce Lee wrote down exactly what he wanted to achieve (see the note he wrote below).

Bruce's success came from reading the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Check out the Review of the book from us. In the book Napoleon Hill writes you have to clearly visualize a goal to achieve it. Imagine you have already achieved your goal. This is what Bruce Lee did to achieve his goals of becoming such a powerful man. I encourage you to buy and read the book Think and Grow Rich, it will make your life better.

10 Traits of Ultra Successful People and How to implement them

Have you wondered about the traits you need to be successful? The answer for the most part depends on the kind of work you do, but the one trait that we all need to get ahead and work effectively is trustworthiness. Being trustworthy is not so much from a personal perspective, but being perceived as trustworthy. You can be the most honest, reliable and hardworking person at your workplace, but it does you no good if no one else notices it. When people around don’t see you as being trustworthy, you forfeit the latitude to take risks, and do thinks your own way, which is one of the common traits of today’s successful entrepreneurs.

Steve Jobs : Founder of the technology giant Apple
Success is something that we all wish we had, but unfortunately is not that easy to attain. What makes success so special is probably its relative elusiveness, which only seems to reach a handful of people. These people weren’t born with a golden spoon, but have worked their way up from the bottom to get to where they are today. The only time luck may be the reason for your success is when you are at the right place at the right time, which doesn’t happen too often.

To be successful requires hard work and certain traits that literally guarantee your prosperity. The best way to gauge if you have what it takes is to peruse the traits of ultra successful people, and the sooner you adopt these habits, the faster you will reach success.

      1.            Successful people are Workaholics

Successful people are determined to reach their goals, and understand that they can only be achieved through hard work and dedication. They work by the rule; input equals output. Rather than depending on luck, they use their determination and skills to their full potential. Work is probably the biggest part of their life, even if they have to sacrifice a few nights sleep; they do it with a smile because they know that there is success at the end of the road. They never complain or bicker, but rather focus on things that matter to them the most, and that is exploring new heights of success.

     2.            Successful people never stop Learning

Most people hate exploring new things or simply give up at the first inconvenience, but that’s not how successful people do things. Rather than being narrow minded, successful people are always ready to learn new things, and ask questions to get all the information they need. They are hungry for more information, because they regard it as the backbone of success. The rule is that the more you know, the easier things are to do, and hence they want to learn anything and everything.

     3.            They Build great Networks

Like the saying goes “your network is your net worth”, successful people don’t believe that they have to be the star of the party, but rather are the most silent ones around. This is because they analyze the situation, and still manage to make headlines for all the right reasons. They are constantly involved in the process of exchanging information and are more interested in what others do, rather than their name and phone number. Successful people have an extensive list of people who value them, and in today’s world, it’s who you know and what they can do for you that matters the most.

     4.            Successful People work hard to Improve themselves

Successful individuals are always seeking new ways to improve their lifestyle. Aspects such as their personality, management and leadership skills as well as the other finer details of life are on the top of their list. It’s a learning curve that they never want to get rid of.

     5.            They are Extremely Creative

Unlike most people that accept everything that’s thrown at them and don’t like changes, successful individuals definitely walk into the room with whole new mindset. They ask questions such as “why not”, which brings out their curious side and are looking for new opportunities and possibilities. This is the reason why most new innovations are created by successful people, who are then recognized for it.

     6.            They are Responsible and Reliant

Even if they fail, successful people will gladly take responsibility for their actions, because they know that you can only fail so many times before you reach success. Other people in the same scenario will look for the book of excuses or shift the blame to others, and that is why they are not and never will be close to reaching success unless they drop that attitude. On the contrary, successful people don’t waste time complaining and bickering, but instead use the same time to improve and succeed at the next round.
Multi-Billionaire Donald Trump

     7.            Successful People are always Relaxed

No matter what the weather is or how stressful the environment, successful people know how to maintain their calm. They still manage to breathe easy, keep their cool, and ask questions with the right mind. They don’t let their emotions take over their determination, and this is the sole reason why successful people are the best problem solvers on the planet.

    8.            Successful People don’t know Past Tense

Successful people regard the past as a trial and error period and learn from their mistake and are only looking to improve. They understand that the present is where their future lies, and crying over spilt milk is not going to solve their current day problems. They are interested in what’s going on now, and not what happened yesterday, because they can’t recover lost times.

     9.            Successful people are extremely Responsive

When changes with regards to technology or a new competitor are needed, you will notice that successful people are the first ones to respond. They do not procrastinate on important decisions, but make them at the spur of the moment. This is because they understand that time is of the essence, and being a minute late can make a significant impact on others.

They do not have the Word Quit in their Vocabulary

Successful People vs Unsuccessful People
Say the word “Quit” around a successful person and they’ll probably laugh hysterically, because it is probably one of the things they have never done. Moreover, they love challenges, and are willing to sacrifice anything and everything to overcome them. Their goal is to be the best and top the list because that’s where they see themselves.
These are some of the traits needed to be successful, and although you don’t need all of them, the more you possess, the closer you are to a bright future.

This surge of appeal in making money from the comfort of your home has generated several unscrupulous and illegitimate propositions, but the 20 ways listed below will definitely help you get started in the right direction.

      1.            Become an eBay seller

eBay has been a powerful marketplace ever since its inception in 1995, and one of its most notable features is that no matter what country you live in, you can explore its full potential with little or no startup and marketing costs. All you need is a computer, an internet connection and a digital camera to get started, and eBay brings the customers to you. The trick is to getting your foot in the door is to gauge what sell and what doesn’t, and you can do this by selling some of your own stuff such as old computers and other electronic items.

Amazon’s Mechanic Turk is the company’s offering of a freelance website, and is a great route to explore if you’re looking to make an extra few bucks a day. Although most of the jobs on Mechanical Turk don’t pay very much, however it is a great way to dive into the world of freelancing and be your own boss. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki - Book Review

First published in Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is a personal finance and investment book. The book teaches you how it is necessary to have a education but not necessarily a school education. He tells the story of his two dads, one being his actual dad who is poor and the other being his best friends dad who is a multi-millionaire, and he tells us the lessons he learned from both of them.

Robert T. Kiyosaki is a best selling author, motivational speaker, invester and businessman. He has written over 15 books having sold over 26 million copies. He has also created his own 'Cashflow' board game and he has also created his own range of CDs and software in his 'Rich Dad' series.

Robert Kiyosaki gained major popularity for his books and his teachings. Will Smith said in an interview he was teaching his son about financial responsibility by reading this book. Oprah Winfrey endorsed this book on her show while billionaire Donald Trump co-wrote some books with Mr Kiyosaki entitled Midas Touch and Why we want you to be Rich

In April 2012 Robert Kiyosaki filled for cooperate bankruptcy after losing $24 million and ordered to pay it over to the Learning Annex founder, Bill Zanker. Apparently Bill Zanker made the brand blow up and increased its popularity to what it is and when it came to paying up Kiyosaki never did.

The book tells us about Kiyosaki's upbringing in Hawaii, USA and his personal story. It also teaches us the difference of upbringing of how rich parents would bring up and their children and how poor parents would bring up their children. He explains the difference between assets and liabilities and He goes on to tell us how rich people get their money to work for them while poor people work for their money. He explains all about the basics of finances while also writing in a great style.

Robert has a great way of writing while mixing in anecdotes about his personal life and other peoples lives and also mixing in great lessons along the way.

The author tells us the importance of entrepreneurship and investing. The book focuses on investing and he tells us how important it is to invest in various different things such as real estate and the stock market. Starting off Robert Kiyosaki had great difficulty getting the book Rich Dad Poor Dad published because all the publishers were turning him down while even Barnes and Noble initially refused to stock the book. Slowly it was picked up by the NY Times Best Seller List. Kiyosaki also contributes part of his success to radio appearances and public speaking.

However many people claim the book is full of inaccuracies, wrong information and unrealistic expectations such as start investing from a really young age. He does teach us that the education system is flawed as they don't tell you how to take care of your personal finance.

Throughout the book he contrasts what his poor dad says to his rich dad. For example, if his poor dad say "Love of money is the root to all evil" but his rich dad says "The lack of money is the root to all evil", he follows his rich dads advice and makes money but says his poor dad was morally correct.

If you found this review interesting then please buy the book from Amazon.

I Will Teach You To Be Rich - Ramit Sethi Book Review

Books with the title that involve 'how to be rich' usually are used as a marketing trick to lure people in with the book title. But I Will Teach You to be Rich: No Guilt, No Excuses - Just a 6-week Programme That Works is a book that is different and promises to be different from all other 'get rich quick' books. The basis of this book is personal finance including wealth management, investing, saving and budgeting.

The author of this book Ramit Sethi is a personal finance advisor and entrepreneur who is also the owner of the blog with the same name. Sethi graduated with a degree in Science, Technology and Society from Stamford university. The book become a New York Times Best Seller and was published in 2009.

Sethi teaches you how to manage your money as well as saving. He teaches you how to save properly and accumulate money through saving. He teaches you all the basic principles of finance and all the terms. If you don't know the difference between 401K and IRA, he will tell you!

There are some useful things included in the book I Will Teach You how to be Rich such as the personal money management system and how to set up automatic bill payments. As well as telling ou about all that he also tells you how to get your savings to work harder than you do and explains all about taxes

Now this isn't like one of those books that tells you to ditch your daily Starbucks coffee fix for 7 years and after that you should have enough money saved up. Instead it is spilt up into different sections and is meant to be used as a 6 week program. Week by week he will teach you how to;

Week 1 - How to use your credit card to your advantage and learn how to get those expensive fees waived.
Week 2 - How to set up bank accounts that are high in interest and wont cost you a penny to make. He actually gives you the most banks that give the highest interest rate and the banks he uses.
Week 3 -  In this week he shows you how to invest and the different things you need to do to invest, he shows you can do it with as little money as possible.
Week 4 -  Learn how to make your money stretch more and make your money go to the right places while also figuring out how much you spend.
Week 5 - Automation. Put everything on automatic, in this section he show you how to link everything together and create an infrastructure that will never fail.
Week 6 - In the final week he tells you why investing isn't the same as plying in the stock market and how to exploit the market.
Ramit Sethi tells us how you don't have to be a rocket scientist or you don't even need more money than Donald Trump to get started. In fact he tells you how to get started by spending next to nothing. If you just implement half of what he says in this book, you will see results.

The thing is this book is intended for the American market so it will help tax laws according to America and not any other country. So you will have to use your own countries tax laws if you live in a country other then America.

Getting this book might not change you life but it will certainly increase your financial knowledge and stop you from falling from a financial pitfall. This book does have a bold title and makes a lot of claims however the title looks like a marketing ploy designed to get people to buy the book. The book contains a lot of good advice and we recommend this book as it is very helpful and will increase your financial knowledge.

This book certainly isn't a scam

You can learn more about this book by visiting Ramit Sethi's website at www.iwillteachyoutoberich.com . If you liked this article then please share it with you friends and on all the different social networks. To purchase a copy of Ramit Sethi's book please click here
